Eha-Amufu lies 64 kilometres north-east of Enugu, the capital of Enugu State of Nigeria, off the Enugu-Abakaliki Highway at Nkalagu.

It is in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State. The College campus is set about one kilometre away from the centre of the settlement on the Eha-Amufu-Ikem road on an undulating terrain with an area of about 100 hectares.

The approach to the campus is off the Eha-Amufu-Ikem road and passes through the bed of the AMkpe stream which is a seasonal stream.

• To install efficient and effective management for the realization of the Educational objectives as enshrined in the national Policy on education
• To formulate academic policies and programmes as may be deemed necessary to enable the College to meet up with changing trends in the society.
• To liaise with relevant agencies and stakeholders such that the college will be able to embark on projects that can create enabling environment for teaching and learning.
• To ensure quality assurance in the service delivery in the college for the enhancement of quality teacher education.
• To collaborate with other teacher education institutions within and outside Nigeria for the attainment of academic excellence.
• To promote staff development that will enhance good/ quality service delivery in the College.
• To ensure institutional development through the provision of infrastructure.
• To ensure that erring staff and students are disciplined with a view to enabling the improvement and sustenance of moral and professional standards within the system.
• To encourage research and ICT programmes necessary for the improvement / advancement of pedagogy and practicum.
• To recruit qualified academic and senior administrative / technical staff.

• To eradicate cultism, examination malpractice and other vices that could impede the attainment of the vision of the council of the federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu.
